Term adult lateral horn PD3a1 neuron ID (Ontology) FBbt:00049375 (Fly Anatomy)
Definition Adult lateral horn local neuron of the PD3a1 group that fasciculates with the PD3 primary neurite tract (Dolan et al., 2019). It is a secondary neuron that belongs to the dorsal hemilineage of LHd2 (DPLm2) (Schlegel et al., 2021). There are approximately six of these cells per hemisphere and they are glutamatergic (Dolan et al., 2019; Schlegel et al., 2021).[ FlyBase:FBrf0242477 FlyBase:FBrf0249560 ]

Comment Cell type found in both hemibrain and FAFB (Schlegel et al., 2021). Schlegel et al. (2021) call this an LHON.
