Definition Bilateral campaniform sensillum neuron that has its soma and sensory terminal in the prothoracic (front) leg (Phelps et al., 2021). It sends axons to the prothoracic and mesothoracic neuromeres, bilaterally, where it synapses to leg motor neurons (Phelps et al., 2021).
