| Definition |
Atypical mushroom body output neuron whose dendrites arborize in the dorsal layer of beta' lobe slice 2 (Li et al., 2020). It also has dendritic arborization outside of the mushroom body, predominantly in the lateral accessory lobe (LAL) and the crepine (Li et al., 2020). Its presynaptic terminals are also found mainly in the LAL and the crepine, with a branch extending to the contralateral LAL (Li et al., 2020). There is 1 neuron of this type in each hemisphere (Li et al., 2020).[ FlyBase:FBrf0248215 ] |
