| Definition |
Atypical mushroom body output neuron whose dendrites arborize mainly in gamma lobe slice 2, similar to MBON34 and MBON35 (Li et al., 2020). It also has dendritic arborization outside of the mushroom body, predominantly in the superior medial protocerebrum and the crepine (Li et al., 2020). There are a smaller number of postsynaptic terminals in the alpha' lobe, the vest and the superior intermediate protocerebrum (Li et al., 2020). Its presynaptic terminals are found mainly in the contralateral lateral accessory lobe (Li et al., 2020). There is 1 neuron of this type in each hemisphere (Li et al., 2020).[ FlyBase:FBrf0248215 ] |
