Term dissociated larval fat cell ID (Ontology) FBbt:00049951 (Fly Anatomy)
Definition Fat cell of the larva that is found in the pupa or early adult and has detached from other larval fat cells (Nelliot et al., 2006). These cells persist into the newly-eclosed adult to provide a food source (Aguila et al., 2007).
