LC6 glomerulus interneuron 1 |
ID (Ontology) |
FBbt:00049987 (Fly Anatomy) |
| Definition |
LC6 glomerulus interneuron that has its cell body in the cell body rind of the anterior dorsal brain and bilaterally innervates the LC6 glomerulus (Morimoto et al., 2020). It is synapsed to and by LC6 cells in both hemispheres (Morimoto et al., 2020). There are approximately 4-6 cells of this type per hemisphere and they are glutamatergic (Morimoto et al., 2020). They respond to visual stimuli in a manner similar to the LC6 population (Morimoto et al., 2020).[ FlyBase:FBrf0247630 ] |
