Definition Region of adult leg neuropil between the ventral association center and the tectulum that occupies most of the central third of the dorsoventral area (in transverse section) of each thoracic neuromere (Court et al., 2020). It contains the dendritic branches of leg motor neurons, premotor interneurons and sensory afferents from leg sensory neurons (Court et al., 2020).[ FlyBase:FBrf0246815 ]
