| Definition | Neuroblast of the deutocerebrum (Kumar et al., 2009) that generates a basoanterior secondary lineage that is closely associated with the BAla4 lineage in the late larval brain (Pereanu and Hartenstein, 2006; Wong et al., 2013). Its primary and secondary lineages enter the larval brain at the ventrolateral antennal lobe, alongside the BAla4 neurons (Lovick et al., 2013; Hartenstein et al., 2015).
