Definition	Lobula plate tangential neuron that innervates most of the ipsilateral lobula plate (LOP) layer 2 and the contralateral inferior posterior slope (IPS) (Wei et al., 2020). Its LOP terminals are mixed pre- and post-synaptic and its IPS terminals are presynaptic (Wei et al., 2020; Shinomiya et al., 2022). Its soma is located on the posterior surface of the lateral central brain (Wei et al., 2020). It is cholinergic (Wei et al., 2020).
