| Definition |
Adult fruitless neuron that develops from neuroblast DL2 (CP3) (Ren et al., 2016) and has its cell body in the posterior inferior protocerebrum (Yu et al., 2010). In the brain, it has arbors in the lateral protocerebral complex (Yu et al., 2010). It descends to the ventral nerve cord, where it has presynaptic terminals in all three thoracic neuromeres (Cachero et al., 2010; Yu et al., 2010).
