Definition Mechanosensory neuron that has its dendrite in a haustellum bristle. It follows the labial nerve before joining the combined maxillary-labial nerve to enter the brain, terminating in the subesophageal zone (Eichler et al., 2024). There is one of these per haustellum bristle (around 5 per side) (Eichler et al., 2024).[ FlyBase:FBrf0259346 ]
