Term adult DN1pD neuron ID (Ontology) FBbt:00053348 (Fly Anatomy)
Definition Adult DN1p neuron that has dense pre- and post-synapses in the ipsilateral superior medial protocerebrum (SMP) (Reinhard et al., 2024). There are four of these cells per hemisphere, with two remaining ipsilateral and two crossing into the contralateral SMP (Reinhard et al., 2024).
