Term adult olfactory receptor neuron Or7a ID (Ontology) FBbt:00067005 (Fly Anatomy)
Definition Adult olfactory receptor neuron (ORN) that expresses Or7a (Benton et al., 2025). Its dendrite transduces signals from antennal basiconic sensillum ab4 and it responds to E2-hexenal and E2-hexenol (Benton et al., 2025). It innervates antennal lobe glomerulus DL5, bilaterally (Benton et al., 2025). It develops from an Nba precursor (Benton et al., 2025).
