| Definition |
Bilateral olfactory receptor neuron (ORN) that expresses Or22a and Or22b (Benton et al., 2025). Its dendrite transduces signals from antennal basiconic sensillum ab3 and it responds to esters (Benton et al., 2025). Its axon innervates antennal lobe glomerulus DM2, bilaterally (Benton et al., 2025). It expresses sNPF (Carlsson et al., 2010). It develops from an Nba precursor (Benton et al., 2025).
