General Information
Term adult olfactory receptor neuron Or43b ID (Ontology) FBbt:00067050 (Fly Anatomy)
Definition Adult olfactory receptor neuron (ORN) that expresses Or43b (Benton et al., 2025). Its axon innervates antennal lobe glomerulus VM2, bilaterally (Benton et al., 2025). Its dendrite transduces signals from antennal basiconic sensillum ab8 and it responds to esters and alcohols (Benton et al., 2025). It develops from an Nab precursor (Benton et al., 2025).
