General Information
Term adult olfactory receptor neuron Or49a/85f ID (Ontology) FBbt:00067055 (Fly Anatomy)
Definition Adult olfactory receptor neuron (ORN) that expresses Or49a and Or85f (Benton et al., 2025). Its dendrite transduces signals from basiconic sensillum ab10 and it responds to iridoids (Benton et al., 2025). Its axon innervates antennal lobe glomerulus DL4, bilaterally (Benton et al., 2025). It expresses sNPF (Carlsson et al., 2010). It develops from an Nba precursor (Benton et al., 2025).
