| Definition |
Adult olfactory receptor neuron (ORN) that expresses Or88a (Benton et al., 2025). Its dendrite transduces signals from antennal trichoid sensillum at4 (Couto et al., 2005; Grabe et al., 2016). It responds to a pheromone secreted by males and females (van der Goes et al., 2007). It innervates the antennal lobe glomerulus VA1d bilaterally, fasciculating with the antennal lobe commissure (Kaur et al., 2019). It develops from an Naa precursor (Benton et al., 2025).
