| Definition |
Adult olfactory receptor neuron (ORN) that expresses Or98a (Benton et al., 2025). Its dendrite transduces signals from antennal basiconic sensillum ab7 and it responds to esters, alcohols and ketones (Benton et al., 2025). Its axon innervates antennal lobe glomerulus VM5v, bilaterally (Benton et al., 2025). It develops from an Nab precursor (Benton et al., 2025).
