| Definition |
Emerging from cells located in the lateral cell body region, the horizontal ventrolateral protocerebral fascicle terminates in an area between the lateral accessory lobe, inferior clamp and epaulette (Ito et al., 2014). It contains fibers projecting towards the inferior and ventromedial neuropils (Ito et al., 2014). It demarcates the boundaries of the lateral accessory lobe (posterior region), inferior clamp (inferior region) and epaulette (superior region) (Ito et al., 2014).[ FlyBase:FBrf0224194 ] |
