| Definition |
Late larval/pupal astrocyte-like glial cell that is associated with the developing lamina (Winberg et al., 1992; Hara et al., 2013; Nakano et al., 2019). During early optic lobe development, these cells are found in a layer proximal to the photoreceptor growth cones (Winberg et al., 1992; Poeck et al., 2001).
