| Definition | DAL neuroblast found lateral to the DALcl and DALv groups (Pereanu and Hartenstein, 2006; Lovick et al., 2013; Wong et al., 2013; Hartenstein et al., 2015). Its descendants enter the ventrolateral protocerebrum, with secondary neurons having a characteristic trajectory along the lateral surface of the peduncle and then backward to the anterior anterior optic tubercle (Lovick et al., 2013; Hartenstein et al., 2015).
