| Definition |
Neuroblast that generates a basoanterior secondary lineage that enters the neuropil ventromedial to the antennal lobe in the late larval brain (Pereanu and Hartenstein, 2006; Lovick et al., 2013). Its primary and secondary lineages follow the median bundle (Wong et al., 2013; Hartenstein et al., 2015). There are approximately 60 cells of this lineage in the adult, collectively having major innervation of the flange and the mushroom body vertical lobe (Ito et al., 2013; Yu et al., 2013).[ FlyBase:FBrf0194268 FlyBase:FBrf0221412 FlyBase:FBrf0221438 FlyBase:FBrf0223329 FlyBase:FBrf0229672 ] |
