Definition Neuroblast that produces neurons with cell bodies that are initially located close to those of the DPMpl1/2 lineages, but shift ventrally during metamorphosis (Wong et al., 2013). Its lineage projects along the medial equatorial fascicle (Wong et al., 2013; Hartenstein et al., 2015).
