Term chamber III of sacculus ID (Ontology) FBbt:00110026 (Fly Anatomy)
Definition Dorsal-most and largest chamber of the sacculus of the antenna. It has a ventral and a dorsal compartment, which differ in the type of sensilla they contain. The compartments are separated by a thick cuticular flap that extends lateromedially (Shanbhag et al., 1995).[ FlyBase:FBrf0084361 ]
