Term adult fruitless aSP-d neuron ID (Ontology) FBbt:00110455 (Fly Anatomy)
Definition Adult fruitless neuron that develops from neuroblast DALcm1 (CREa2) (Ito et al., 2013; Yu et al., 2013). There are approximately 50 of these cells per hemisphere (Cachero et al., 2010).[ FlyBase:FBrf0128543 FlyBase:FBrf0211926 FlyBase:FBrf0221412 FlyBase:FBrf0221438 ]
Also Known As "aSP-d neuron" ; "fru-aSP-d"
Comment Cachero et al. (2010) map Kimura et al. (2008) AL4 to aSP-d, but Yu et al. (2010) map AL4 to their aSP3.
