| Definition | A dopaminergic neuron of the PPL1 cluster that has sparse terminals in the gamma lobe slice 1 (Aso et al., 2014; Li et al., 2020). It crosses the midline and has a broader arborization in the contralateral hemisphere (Truman et al., 2023). There is one neuron of this type in each hemisphere (Aso et al., 2014; Li et al., 2020).
