Definition Non-directional local neuron that is restricted to layer 6 of the medulla. Its soma is in the ventral region of the lateral cell body rind. This neuron arborizes in the anterior dorsal region of the M6 layer, covering around 60 columns. This neuron is GABAergic.[ FlyBase:FBrf0226257 ]

Comment The GABAergic neurotransmitter was assessed by labelling cells with an antibody against GABA (Chin et al., 2014).
