| Definition | Adult fruitless neuron with a large cell body in the ventral region of the anterior mesothoracic neuromere (Yu et al., 2010). It projects dorsally forming thick arbors in the dorsal mesothoracic neuromere (Yu et al., 2010). One branch exits the ventral nerve cord via the anterior dorsal mesothoracic nerve to innervate a flight muscle (Yu et al., 2010). Muscles innervated by these neurons include a tergal remotor of coxa indirect flight muscle and the basilar direct flight muscles (Yu et al., 2010).[ FlyBase:FBrf0211884 ] | ||
