ID (Ontology) |

| Definition |
Adult fruitless neuron with its cell body located posterior to the protocerebral bridge (Yu et al., 2010). It projects ventrally then laterally along the posterior optic tract to arborize sparsely in the lobula (Yu et al., 2010). Two arborization regions are seen in the brain, one in the posterior subesophageal zone, the other smaller region is located in the lateral subesophageal zone (Yu et al., 2010).[ FlyBase:FBrf0211884 ] |
| Also Known As |
"fru-pMP7" |
| Comment |
Yu et al. (2010) map this to Cachero et al. (2010) pMP-a, which does not seem to have optic lobe arbors. Cachero et al. (2010) map to aIP-f, which does not seem to have central brain arbors. |
