| Definition |
Ascending A00c neuron with its cell body in abdominal neuromere 5, close to the midline. Its axons run along the anterior-posterior axis close to the midline in the ventral nerve cord and it projects to the contralateral brain lobe. It receives input from the Basin-2, Basin-3 and Basin-4 neurons (from at least abdominal neuromeres 1 and 4) and synapses onto the subesophageal zone descending neuron and Ipsiphone neuron in the brain.[ FlyBase:FBrf0228257 ] |
