| Definition |
Gustatory bristle found on the tarsal segments of the prothoracic (1st) leg of the adult. It has a straight tip. In the female, most sensilla are organized in symmetric pairs (with two exceptions), with lateral sensilla having a counterpart on the medial side of the leg. The male contains more sensilla and more of them are asymmetric.
