| Definition |
Late-born larval EL neuron (Wreden et al., 2017; Wang et al., 2022) with a contralateral projection that ascends to the brain (Heckscher et al., 2015). In abdominal segment 1, it forms a short anteriorly-projecting arbor, and a long, posteriorly-projecting arbor in the ipsilateral neuropil (Heckscher et al., 2015; Wang et al., 2022).
