General Information
Term larval A08e1 local neuron ID (Ontology) FBbt:00111653 (Fly Anatomy)
Definition Late-born larval EL neuron, with birth order between A08e3 and A08e2 (Wreden et al., 2017; Wang et al., 2022). Its ipsilateral and contralateral arbors extend slightly further in the anterior-posterior axis than the ones from A08e2 and A08e3 neurons (Wang et al., 2022). It does not ascend to the brain (Wang et al., 2022). It receives strong input from the contralateral Jaam3 neuron (Heckscher et al., 2015).
