Term larval antennal lobe picky local neuron ID (Ontology) FBbt:00111694 (Fly Anatomy)
Definition Glutamatergic multiglomerular local neuron of the larval antennal lobe whose soma is located dorsolaterally to the antennal lobe, anterior to the choosy local neurons (Berck et al., 2016). There are 5 of these cells per hemisphere, with all receiving most of their input from olfactory receptor neurons and sending substantial output to multiglomerular projection neurons, but differences between the actual cells targeted by each of the five (Berck et al., 2016). Some of these neurons extend into the neighboring subesophageal zone (Berck et al., 2016).[ FlyBase:FBrf0232785 ]
