ID (Ontology) |

| Definition |
Adult visual projection neuron with its soma posterior to the lateral horn (Schlegel et al., 2024; Dorkenwald et al., 2024). It belongs to the VLPp&l1 anterior hemilineage (Schlegel et al., 2024; Dorkenwald et al., 2024). It receives input in lobula layer 6, in around 20 columns (Nern et al., 2025). It remains ipsilateral in the central brain, sending output to the ipsilateral superior posterior slope (Schlegel et al., 2024; Dorkenwald et al., 2024). There are approximately 3 of these cells per hemisphere (Nern et al., 2025).[ FlyBase:FBrf0246888 FlyBase:FBrf0260535 FlyBase:FBrf0260546 FlyBase:FBrf0262545 ] |

"adult posterior slope neuron 104" ; "LoVP33" ; "LTe63" (for all, see Synonyms field below) |
| Comment |
Cell type based on Hemibrain data (Scheffer et al., 2020), updated using FlyWire (FAFB) data (Dorkenwald et al., 2024; Schlegel et al., 2024) and identified at light level by Nern et al. (2025). Soma location is based on the closest annotated neuropil region in FlyWire. |
