ID (Ontology) |

| Definition |
Adult sensory neuron that enters the brain via the maxillary-labial nerve and arborizes in the gnathal ganglion (Dorkenwald et al., 2024; Schlegel et al., 2024; Sturner et al., 2024). It descends to the ventral nerve cord and follows the ventral median tract of ventral cervical fasciculus (Takemura et al., 2024; Sturner et al., 2024). It sends output to the T1 leg neuropil (Takemura et al., 2024; Marin et al., 2024). Its predicted neurotransmitter is acetylcholine (Eckstein et al., 2024). There is one of these cells on each side (Sturner et al., 2024).[ FlyBase:FBrf0260535 FlyBase:FBrf0260546 ] |
