General Information
Term adult common salivary gland duct ID (Ontology) FBbt:00003137 (Fly Anatomy)
Definition A duct that connects the left and right adult salivary gland ducts to the salivary canal. It connects to the salivary ducts in the neck region and runs along posterior wall of the proboscis. At the base of the hypopharynx, the duct is dilated to form a small chamber, the salivary pump (FBbt:00003134), which connects to the salivary canal.[ FlyBase:FBrf0007735 ]
