Term spiracular tracheal branch primordium ID (Ontology) FBbt:00005589 (Fly Anatomy)
Definition Region of a tracheal primordium that develops into an embryonic/larval spiracular branch. During stages 11 and 12, the invaginating tracheal pit forms an L shape. The arm of the L heading inwards from the surface forms the spiracular branch primordium. In all except the first and tenth tracheal metameres, the spiracular branch collapses, forming a solid cord.[ FlyBase:FBrf0064787 ]
Also Known As "embryonic spiracular branch"
