General Information
Term oocyte associated follicular epithelium ID (Ontology) FBbt:00007030 (Fly Anatomy)
Definition A columnar epithelium which surrounds the oocyte except at the anterior where the oocyte contacts the nurse cells. The basal side of this epithelium is associated with a basement membrane and faces away from the oocyte. The apical side faces the vitelline membrane, which separates this epithelium from the oocyte.[ FlyBase:FBrf0015801 ]
