ID (Ontology) |
FBbt:00007707 (Fly Anatomy) |
| Definition |
A dorso-laterally located longitudinal subdivision of the larval central nervous system spanning the gnathal, thoracic and abdominal neuromeres (Hartenstein et al., 2018). In the tritocerebrum, there is no clear distinction between the dorsomedial and dorsolateral domains (Hartenstein et al., 2018). It is found at the same level as the dorsomedial domain; dorsal to the central domain (which contains the C1-3 fascicles) and the centrolateral domain (Hartenstein et al., 2018). It can be distinguished from the dorsomedial domain based on the absence of the dorsal commissural bundles (Hartenstein et al., 2018).[ FlyBase:FBrf0237252 ] |
