| Definition |
Neuroblast with a relatively ventromedial location in the basoanterior larval brain (Pereanu and Hartenstein, 2006). It generates a lineage similar to that of BAmv2 (PSa1), entering the neuropil close to the antennal lobe and contributing to the medial longitudinal ventral fascicle in both adult and larva (Lovick et al., 2013; Hartenstein et al., 2015). Its secondary lineage develops a more complex branching pattern that of the BAmv2 lineage (Wong et al., 2013). In the adult, its lineage has approximately 100 cells, with strongest innervation in the fan-shaped body and noduli (Ito et al., 2013; Yu et al., 2013). It is the main contributor of neurons to the asymmetrical body (Kandimalla et al., 2023).[ FlyBase:FBrf0194268 FlyBase:FBrf0221412 FlyBase:FBrf0221438 FlyBase:FBrf0223298 FlyBase:FBrf0223329 FlyBase:FBrf0229672 FlyBase:FBrf0257023 ] |
