Long ventral neck muscle that attaches to a relatively lateral part of the sternal apodeme compared to other ventral muscles and lateral to the VL2 muscle (Gorko et al., 2024). | Also Known As |
"VL1 muscle" |
| Comment |
Based on lateral attachment to sternal apodeme and tendon connecting to posterior head, VL1 and VL2 probably correspond to muscle 27 in Miller (1950) - FBrf0186027. |
