Definition A stretch receptor neuron with a dendrite innervating the femur-tibia joint. There is exactly one such neuron per leg. Its cell body is at the distal end of the femur (Desai et al., 2014) and its axonal projection terminates in the leg neuropil (Tsubouchi et al., 2017).
