| Definition |
Muscle with its origin in the dorso-posterior head capsule and its insertion site in the posterior cuticle of the rostrum, near the posterior end of the apodeme of the rostrum, similar to muscles 2 dorsal and 2 ventral (McKellar et al., 2020). As the three of these contract, they pull the rostrum back into the head cavity (McKellar et al., 2020).
