Muscle found in the rostrum, connecting the apodeme of the dorsal arm of the rostrum-haustellum joint to the clypeus (Miller, 1950; McKellar et al., 2020). As it contracts, it rotates the apodeme, extending the haustellum (McKellar et al., 2020).
