Term neuroblast DPLal2 ID (Ontology) FBbt:00100592 (Fly Anatomy)
Definition Neuroblast that generates a primary lineage that enters the superior lateral protocerebrum laterally and projects a thick bundle, the transverse superior anterior fascicle, ventromedially towards the mushroom body pedunculus (Hartenstein et al., 2015). Its secondary lineage has arborization across the ipsilateral superior protocerebrum, including the lateral horn, and projections via the superior arch commissure to the contralateral hemisphere (Ito et al., 2013; Yu et al., 2013).[ FlyBase:FBrf0194268 FlyBase:FBrf0221412 FlyBase:FBrf0221438 FlyBase:FBrf0229672 ]
