General Information
Term neuroblast BLAd1 ID (Ontology) FBbt:00100614 (Fly Anatomy)
Definition Neuroblast found in a relatively dorsal location in the basolateral anterior (BLA) group during the larval stage (Pereanu and Hartenstein, 2006). In the larva, its lineage forms a bundle with the BLAd2-4 lineages, entering the superior lateral protocerebrum and forming the transverse superior intermediate fascicle (Hartenstein et al., 2015). In the adult, there are approximately 50 neurons of this lineage, which collectively innervate the lateral horn and superior lateral protocerebrum (Wong et al., 2013; Ito et al., 2013; Yu et al., 2013).[ FlyBase:FBrf0194268 FlyBase:FBrf0221412 FlyBase:FBrf0221438 FlyBase:FBrf0223298 FlyBase:FBrf0223329 FlyBase:FBrf0229672 ]
Also Known As "neuroblast BLAd1" ; "neuroblast LHa1"
Comment Posterior tract of LHa1 clone in Yu et al. (2013) not found in FAFB.
