| Definition |
Unpaired interneuron of the larval abdominal neuromere that is part of lineage 0. Its dendritic and axonal domains are located in the medial ventral nerve cord crossing the midline (Ohyama et al., 2015). It receives much of its input from the Basin neurons, with little input from mechanosensory chordotonal neurons (Ohyama et al., 2015; Jovanic et al., 2016). Originally mis-named as A00b by Ohyama et al. (2015) (FBrf0228257) - the correct synonym is A00b2 (FBrf0239413). Authors of FBrf0228257 and FBrf0233796 do not explicitly state which VNC segments this neuron exists in, therefore, subclasses may not be exhaustive. |
