| Definition |
Larval neuron that is part of lineage 31. Its primary neurite extends from the dorsolateral edge of the ventral nerve cord medially, crossing the midline to terminate on the opposite dorsolateral edge. Its ipsilateral arbors are mainly input and its contralateral arbors are mainly output (Schneider-Mizell et al., 2016). It is a GABAergic premotor neuron that outputs to the contralateral RP2 motor neuron (Schneider-Mizell et al., 2016). These neurons are activated in waves during forwards and backwards fictive locomotion (Kohsaka et al., 2019).[ FlyBase:FBrf0231328 FlyBase:FBrf0242656 ] |
