Term lateral cervical tract ID (Ontology) FBbt:00001626 (Fly Anatomy)
Definition Tract that forms part of the larval cervical connective (Nassif et al., 1998; Hartenstein et al., 2015). It is formed by axons of the P3m cluster which extend anteriorly and ventrally, fasciculate with axons from the P1 fiber tract founder cluster, then extend ventrally toward the subesophageal commissure and subesophageal ganglion (Nassif et al., 1998).[ FlyBase:FBrf0105282 FlyBase:FBrf0229672 ]
